Rihlat is an Egyptian platform that brings verified travel companies and licensed guides together in one place: pick a destination, compare real prices in Egyptian pounds, and contact the provider directly.
How does booking work?
From a trip page you send a booking request or contact the company directly by phone or WhatsApp. Your details reach the provider itself, with no intermediary.
Are the prices final?
Each price is in Egyptian pounds and states exactly what is included. Optional extras are listed in the programme details.
How do I know a company is verified?
A company with a ✓ badge submitted a valid tourism licence or registry entry before being listed, and its reviews come from customers who actually contacted it through the platform.
Can I cancel a booking?
Cancellation policy differs by company and is stated on each trip page before you book.
Is Rihlat the same as Rehlat.com?
No. Rihlat (rihlat.travel) is an entirely independent Egyptian platform with no connection to the Kuwaiti booking site Rehlat.com. Always check you are on rihlat.travel.
I run a travel company — how do I join?
Choose a monthly or annual plan on the pricing page, send your company details and licence for verification, and your page goes live once reviewed.
Is there commission on bookings?
No. Companies pay a fixed subscription only, and the price you see is the company’s own.
Which destinations does Rihlat cover?
Egyptian and Saudi destinations plus international routes sold by Egyptian companies. Every destination page shows its real listing count, and empty destinations stay out of search results.
How do I review a trip?
After contacting or booking through the platform you receive a review link. Your review appears with your first name and date, and helps the next traveller choose.
